On January 4, 1999 John bought Toscano’s from Alino Torre, who had operated the restaurant in North Wales since 1995. (Toscano’s moved to its current location in September 2004.) For John, one of the added bonuses of this deal was that two veteran wait staff members, Steph Alderfer and Mary Fuller, agreed to stay on. They are still with us today!
To celebrate this occasion, we will be offering some 20-16 specials. All fish entrees will be priced at $20 each; all chicken entrees will be $16. In recognition of Toscano’s entering its 22nd year as a local restaurant, we will offer Osso Buco, a traditional Italian entrée of veal shanks served with risotto, for $22.
