Toscano’s is “Sixteen Going on Seventeen”! John is not dancing around the gazebo as Rolf and Liesl do in “The Sound of Music,” but he is still very happy – and grateful – to be celebrating his 16th anniversary as owner and chef of Toscano’s. The official anniversary date is January 4, but the celebration will begin a few days in advance.
All entrees served on January 2nd, 3rd, and 4th will be offered for 17% off, in honor of Toscano’s entering its 17th year of providing delicious food in a warm family atmosphere.All of your “favorite things” will be on the menu; we hope you will stop by to congratulate John and to take advantage of this Sweet Sixteen deal.
Almost as remarkable as keeping a restaurant going for sixteen years is holding onto excellent staff members for that same length of time. Servers Debbie Gunkle, Mary Fuller, and Stephanie Alderfer have all been with Toscano’s since it opened its doors on Broad Street. Debbie and Mary had worked with the previous owner and then moved with John to the current location.
